anyone have any bad or good feed back about thompson m1 rifle?

I have shot the Auto-Ordnance reproduction.  It's big and heavy, and cycling the action is about like drawing an 80-lb bow.  I didn't like the feel shooting from the shoulder, but shooting offhand from the hip was kinda fun.  The latter naturally limits you to pistol ranges or closer.

If your interest is in shooting it, I would pass.  There are better guns.
