in the top 2 pics, he has:

an Oly Arms (SGW) pre-b lower
Sterling 40 rnd. magazine
all Colt 16.1" M4 profile bbl 1-7" twist (note the after-thought and highly EEEVIL bayo-lug)
Colt M4 4-position collapsable (and totally EEEVIL) stock
Knight's rail interface system with Knight's foregrip
ACOG TAO-1 NSN
ITT PVS-14 with standard ITT camera/weapon mount
LAN-CAY M9 bayonette
SureFire tactical light with IR filter attached on Knight's lightmount
Otis M4 trap-door pistol-grip cleaning system
and finally, a "modified" Blackhawk CQB sling

-believe it or not, the system wasn't all that heavy! quite managable, actually.

I have a similar set up, except I don't have a PVS14 and I've never seen an ACOG mounted in front of a NV scope..

hey Duffy,
that is one sweet set-up! i bet with that vortex, you don't need an adapter for the bayo, huh? i also see that back-up sight fits underneath the ACOG...very nice!

Isn't a flare launcher on a post-ban a no-no? Maybe it was just grenade launchers.

it is my understanding, (warning: i am not a lawyer or much smarter than a bag of hammers!) that the "grenade launcher" referred to in the AW ban, is simply the diameter of the flash-suppressor ~ which allows the mounting/firing of a "rifle-launched" grenade.

...but Smoken44's rifle definately fits the bill as "EEEVIL" in my book!

I like. I am about to finish my pre-ban M4 project and when I do my next project is going to be a rifle with the 37mm launcher. Very nice.

The flare launchers are legal on post-ban weapons.

What does the 37mm shoot like? Recoil, noise, etc... Do you need to worry about the shell exploding 12" out of the barrel?

Thanks fat, you have sharp eyes, a 14.5" barrel can use a bayo as is, regardless whether it has a Vortex, Phantom (which mine is), or a plain A2 bird cage suppressor.

, I was wondering what that thing was to which the bayo was attached.
The NV scope is nice, my PVS4 is just a tiny bit bigger
