I have read his name on a few articles conserning long range/sniper topics.

I do know where he received the Medal Of Honor in 1874 and IIRC there was a mention of a specific long range shot of 1800+ yards?

EDIT: Just remembered i had read the story before of him..god damn, is CRS kicking in at this early stage

Supposedly he shot an Indian off his horse at 1538 yards during the Battle of Adobe Walls in 1874. Using a Sharps .50-90 buffalo rifle.

Yep, that is what i read about him. Checked a coupe of new articles conserning his life.
