Do you want a rifle or a pistol? Any preferences with calibers? With pistols do you have any preferences towards revolvers or autos?
What do you already have in your collection? IMO it's always nice to fill a 'gap' if you have one. |

I have no preferences in regard to Rifle vs. Pistol/Revolver. Caliber does not matter to me that much as well. I had to sell most of my firearms due to my divorce a couple of years ago, so in many ways I feel as though I am starting over. All suggestions are good suggestions!  Tyler |

Okay then here goes -
Savage 10FP in .308 or a Howa heavy barrel .308 Ruger GP100, P94, P95 or P97 Ruger MK2 or 22/45 Taurus M85 (5 shot .38) SS 3" barrel length. Some of these are under $300. |

If you are looking at rifles, look hard at the savages, they are almost the best buy for the money. Also, check out the New England Firearms Handi Rifles. The handi rifle is a single shot for about 250 bucks. Plus if your dealer has to order it have him order an extra barrel for it in other calibers. It only costs 80 bucks or so for an extra barrel. Ask for a trigger job while your at it, they do them at the factory for free. Should be able to get 1 moa out of it with factory cheap stuff. Dont know much about pistols anymore, but that ruger GP 100 looks like a good buy. hope this helps ya out.

ak47 if you dont already have one, or a SAR2 (or whichever one is the AK74 clone) at my last fun show i picked up a nib SAR1 for 330, not an asshole stock either.
