If you are looking at rifles, look hard at the savages, they are almost the best buy for the money.  Also, check out the New England Firearms Handi Rifles. The handi rifle is a single shot for about 250 bucks. Plus if your dealer has to order it have him order an extra barrel for it in other calibers. It only costs 80 bucks or so for an extra barrel.  Ask for a trigger job while your at it, they do them at the factory for free. Should be able to get 1 moa out of it with factory cheap stuff.  Dont know much about pistols anymore, but that ruger GP 100 looks like a good buy.  hope this helps ya out.

ak47 if you dont already have one, or a SAR2 (or whichever one is the AK74 clone) at my last fun show i picked up a nib SAR1 for 330, not an asshole stock either.
