1) Is the barrel on an AR-15 (and clones) measured from the barrel extension (ie: inside the upper) or from the base of the upper (ie: outside the upper)?

2) I see everyone talking poorly about the C-More reflex sight, why is that?

1) Barrel length is mentioned from the face of the bolt to the end muzzle.  The End of the muzzle is the muzzle of a permanently attached muzzle device (brake or FH).  If your muzzle device is detachable then its measured to the end of the barrel.

2) Over priced for its performance.  It is difficult to adjust to zero, has parallax problems, fragile design, zero shifts when the sight is heated up, batteries are in a difficult place to get to.....

There was a thread on this last week in the Build-It-Yourself section and two weeks ago on [email protected] (the posts can be read online at Yahoogroups.com).  Also there are a couple of unbiased reviews of this sight.  One by Boland at sniper country and one by me at communities.msn.com/TheMarylandAr15ShootersSite  Check under Product Reviews:Optics
