Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - .22 Conversions

Looking for opinons from users of Ciener/Atchisson .22 conversions with regard to reliability, zero change from .223, accuracy, or lack thereof.  I don't want to go for a dedicated .22 upper, and for training purposes, I'm considering either a .22 conversion kit or a Choate Dragunov-style stock for my 10/22.  Opinions, please.

I use the USGI type (mine was made by Olympic Arms).  They shoot to point of aim at 25 yards and with a 1:9 twist barrel I get 1" groups.

Good for training and practice, but not nearly as accurate as a 10/22.  If you want an accurate .22 for practice contact Kurt's Kustom and he will build you a .22LR upper that shoots great and looks/feels just like your 5.56 upper.
