Secure in the decision to acquire Beretta's new ARX100 --- sooner, than later --- I contacted a major Distributor and requested to be placed on their list to be notified, as soon as Beretta begins shipping the model to Distributors. They got back to me and advised that in order to set me up for notification, they first have to know the model's "Release Date." I then contacted Beretta Customer Support. They got back to me and advised, "We have been told 60-90 days from last Monday [May 6, 2013]."  Now, in that this general timetable already has been widely reported on the Net, a more definitive, official release date --- along with the named reliable source --- would be helpful.

Any assistance in this matter would be appreciated. Thanks!

That sounds about right. If the 5.56 is as accurate as the .22 version, the rifle should be good enough for not only "combat utilities" but precision too.

Definitely worth waiting for

.22 look-a-like copy of ARX-100 =/= ARX-100

I realize that but my point is the ARX .22 has been reported to have excellent accuracy so I would imagine the 5.56 is just as accurate, most likely more.

They did a great job on the .22. It is an actual .22 like the M&P 15-22 and not like those Colt or HK Umarex guns that have metal internal boxes and fake barrels. If they took the time to make sure the .22 version turned out so great and high-end, I'm sure the 5.56 will be the same way

Beretta is pretty bad about release announcements. Like the .22 ARX and their other firearms they just send them out. Right now Beretta's marketing and sales team is awful so expect the ARX-100 to be available without any notice.

Beretta does some things really bad.

Like optics?

Thats from their newest TV spot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3Gya4gZXgU

I had to laugh, and remember that I actually owned a HAMR for a while. Never made that mistake though!
