I saw these at the Shot Show and they are complete hunks o CRAP. They are useless plastic shit and I LIKE M1 Carbines. This is worse than any travesty Universal ever devised to hurt the reputation of the M1 Carbine and they are as shitty looking as anything ever produced by Special Weapons. They are junk, you won't be happy. Do NOT buy one at any price. They suck. They suck. They suck. Hesse makes a better product. |

seems someone on another board posted a price. If I remember correct you could buy a Bushmaster M 17 for a little more than the kit price.

Oh, I believe you, Steyr, when you say that you saw a piece of junk. Never doubted that for a moment. I'm just curious enough to want to see for myself. Maybe, just maybe, these guys got some negative feedback and made some alterations. Maybe not. As I said before, we'll see. |

If I had a Universal I might give it a whirl but to do that to a U.S. carbine is the gun version of blasphemy. Hanging would be too good for ruining a collectable gun that way.
