Load is a 500 grain GOEX Fg blank charge.

other than  the obvious 1/4 size how big is that thing?

It's a little large for IWB carry!



The barrel is 18¼" long overall, with a maximum diameter at the breech of 2¾".

Bore diameter is 1.156", 16" from muzzle to the rear face of the chamber (if it were a carbine, it would be legal length!).

With correct windage it fires a 1.125" ball, which weighs 5 ounces cast from pure lead, 4¾ ounces cast from wheelweights. In muzzleloading artillery parlance, windage is the difference between bore and projectile nominal diameters.



Blank charge is 500 grains of Fg black powder. 250 grains is the max charge with ball.
