I'm not a member of the CMP, so can I scan my cards of local sportsmans clubs to order? Also do I need my birth certificate? Or is a driver's license ok?

That comes to basically $9 per box of 500rounds, which is half the price of walmart.

There is a reason why it's so cheap....anyone who shoots Remington 22LR knows it's garbage ammo.  It's dirty and unreliable.  I personally wouldn't shoot this ammo if it was free

I bought two cases about 10 years ago. It's good practice/plinking ammo but if it's like the stuff i got, expect to get one or two misfires per 100.

$11.50 for 500 rds of Remington 40 gr.

or

You could pay, about $15+ (on sale) for 525/550 rds of Remington (or Federal) promo 36 gr. stuff.

Well, my rifle likes the 40 gr ammo.  And, at that price I don't expect it to be MATCH AMMO.

Remember the ammo shortages of a few years ago?  Some of us paid about $18+ for 550 rds of 22LR Federal value pack ammo at Wally World.  Not to mention the limits.

Laugh if you want.  But, I'll have my stash.

Aloha, Mark

PS.....I've ordered 4 cases.
