I thought I read about them on here before, but my search netted nothing.  Buddy of mine (former navy pilot) is expecting his first ––- a son!

He loves my CountyComm extra large bail out bag so I purchased one as a gift to set up as a "tactical diaper bag" and was searching for the patch to add to the setup.

Googled the patch but no one seems to have them in stock.  Does anyone know of a reputable dealer where I might find them?

Thanks!

I can't say for sure, but I bet Robert over at www.usgruntgear.com can help.

Apparently the original website says they are out.  Seen a few attempts at people making their own...

Just thought it would be a nice touch to go along with the bag and thebottle of Jameson (for Dad of course)

First hit on Yahoo search, "tactical diaper patch"....

http://homepage.mac.com/patricklee/DiaperbagPatches/DiaperBagPatches.html

oops, both sizes "sold out till further notice"......maybe send him a few dozen requests, or one that says "I have $20 if you make me one"....

congrats on all the new shooters!

Yes, I saw/did that and sent him an email 7 days ago...no answer.

I guess I'm going to see if I can find someone to do 3-4 custom patches, but not sure where to start

That was the one I used. I never managed to get the smaller one, but I got the larger one for myself and a friend. Sorry that he's out.

ETA: This guy's web site indicates he'll do custom patches. I've never used him, but I found his web site through AR15.com.

I'd be interested in picking one up. If you find someone that can do that patch, maybe we could set up a group buy. Might be more successful if we say we have 5-6 people who want to buy one.

Edited to clarify: I think if we get together a group that wants to buy 1 or more patches each, it might be easier to get a patch maker to do a run of these patches for us.

I sent an e-mail over to 1-800 name tapes. I've done a lot of business with them ordering, well, name tapes and such. I got an e-mail back today asking for a picture and dimensions of the patch and they would get back to me on if they can do it and an estimate. I'm going to see if I can get a decent price from them with a guarantee for a minimum order.

If one of you that has the patch could get me a better picture and dimensions of the patch, I would appreciate it! The sooner I get them the info, the sooner I can find out if they will be able to do this for us.

I'll see if I can find something better.  I had a pretty clear one (not my own obviously since I'm looking for one)

Thanks! I'll shoot them an e-mail tomorrow around lunchtime with the photo already in the thread and an approximation on the size. Maybe around 3"x5"?

Ok, I sent them the pictures yesterday and told them the patch is probably right around 3"x3" or so. Got their e-mail back today: they said they can most likely do the patch for us. I'll hopefully have a price tomorrow. They should hopefully give me prices for not only a B&W version but also and tan and OD one too. If they don't, I'll bug them about it again.

I guess once I get the price everyone can finalize how many they want to order. They normally have good prices for their patches, so hopefully this won't be too over-the-top price-wise...

Outstanding.  I'll at least get one of every color they have.   Thanks for putting this together!

edited to add:  not that I care, but the original was 2x3.  3x3 works for me

I'll let them know that it's 2x3 tomorrow. I'm sure the estimate they give me will be fairly close either way.

I made sure to mention that to them. :) It was actually one of their first questions about the patch after I sent the photos.

I sent them a quick update e-mail with the correct size (2x3 inches) and reminded them to give me prices for the various colors. I also asked for a price for multicam patches for all the mulitcam fetishists out there... me included.

Hopefully they will get back to me this evening.

ETA: This is their website: Spur Name Tapes

After I found them, they've been the only place I've ordered name tags from. Cheaper, faster, and more options than trying to buy crap at clothing and sales on post. They have most military type patches you need, as well as IR ones, muliticam, and a bunch of other organization's patches (Young Marines, Florida Guard, etc.).

Ok everyone, I just got the e-mail back from Spur. They said it's $4 regardless of color. So you can choose from B&W, OD, Tan, or Multicam. What's the best way to work out the payments? I've never facilitated a group buy, only been a member of some, so any advice would be great. :)

I guess for a start if everyone could post and pm the quantity and types of the patchs they want, I can at least keep track of the numbers and how much each person will owe.

To avoid the hammer of AR15.com, you need to get group buys approved by site staff before proceeding.  I appreciate your efforts, and would hate to see it all for naught.  There is a "Group Buy" section over in the EE.

Thanks for letting me know about that. :D

I sent an e-mail out to Striker and Aimless and hopefully we'll have this thing approved and going by the end of the holiday weekend!

Lots of places around here (Norfolk Va Beach) make patches and name tapes.  I would try a local embroidery place.....Find out who does shirt embroidery or letter jackets for schools.  Have them do the lettering and border on some 600 din nylon, cut it out and stick it to some velcro.

This is outstanding.  My first is coming in December and I have been looking for a suitable diaper bag as well.

What are you guys suggesting to use for a diaper bag?
