None of ours do, but we can still be proud of what we got.  AJohnston's collection gives me something to aspire to.  And it's filled me with appreciation for the square trigger guard.

On me every day for 5 years.  The brown gunners came from ADCO via M4arc.  The Armor-tuff finish has held up great despite others experience with it coming off.

Ya real meager collection you have very nice pistolas. NH is making one of the best 1911 out there.

Well I've only been collecting 1911's for about a month, so here goes:

Stock Kimber TLE/RL II  (all I want to add is a grip safety that lets me hold it a little higher)

Kimber 9mm Target - (has a nice perfect fit magwell, HUGE rear sight and dawson front sight)

Springfield Loaded - this is my 'shooter'; the one I'm learning on, taking apart, putting back together, etc.  She ain't the purtiest, but she sure is comfy and shoots great.  Can you see the best part yet?

did you see the best part yet?  Maybe its on the other side?

still can't see it?  Maybe if I change the angle!

Here's a picture with Bigfoot's hand holding it!  Just got the slide back from Novak who installed his ghost ring bar/dots on.  Lemme tell you, the ring is HUUUUGE!  look at how wide that is!  I love em!

I also have the Kimber 22 kit in SS that I plan to use alot as well.
Planned additions to this collection: Wilson KZ, Kimber Raptor and that's it.  I will NOT go AJOHNSTON with this!  I can't!  I need to eat!

Whoa. Having spent a good chunk of the weekend polishing up my stainless 1911, I can tell you that sucker is BEGGING for some sandpaper and Mothers Billet. I need a new digicam so I can take pics of my (formerly) black stainless. The only black left on it is on the slide stop, safety, grip safety and hammer.

My Black Stainless shortly after I brought it home. Very poor pic.

Little better picture, different grips (and a P22)

My TLE/RL II. Not bad, but there's just something about it I don't like. I think it's the grip safety.

My first 1911, a Norinco (left) with a fake one (right) for comparison. Both are sold

Compact Springfield Armory. Commander slide with lightweight Officer's frame. Never really got to like this one, so I sold it.

Page 1 of this thread threatens to crash my PC, and I'm on a cable modem. Yowza.
