holy fuk!!! fuk u hk....why didnt they just import them like bulgaria did?
HK (Germany) drank the UN Small Arms Proliferation Ban Kool-Aid. They apparently offered a better discount than the price (if any) the importers offered the Estonians.. |
jesus, why do they care what they import into our country. damn we wouldve taken good care of those maks.
Dont they realize that people (americans) will purchase those.
They could have made money on the deal. |
See if I EVER buy H+K ANYTHING EVER!! My Makarov continues to be one of my favorite guns. From the minute I fired one back in October of 2006, I had to have one. I've had a few along the way(german, bulgy and russian) and am down to one now. Heck, my father never even fired my bulgy and took it from me LOL.
That's really an upsetting picture. |
Agreed. I'm not going to get all butt hurt over this, but it doesn't make any damn sense for an arms manufacturer to call for this. |
The MAKS are bad enough but the mangled guns in the last couple of photo's are Colt 1911's!!!!!
What NoHarmNoFAL said. This is the first time I've seen these with a reference to HK.
Gee, ya don't think a few walked off in some guys coat pocket do ya?
Oh man....looking at those pictures is like watching the Holocaust play out.....

I had my sights set on buying a usp for my first pistol, but after seeing this there is no way I will ever buy an H&K product.
I work in a steel mill. with that being said you should see what the police agencies right here in the good old usa do to them, makes me cry every time. I wonder if guns belive in reincarnation, they should.

I'd have taken out a bank loan to buy every one of those for myself and my future kids and grandkids.

What's the deal with each pistol having a mag threaded to it with a string?
too bad they don't think to sell them to civvys....what is that I hear, recouping some of your money? what a concept.

They ( Russian ) are issued new like that, mags marked with the last digits of serial number and 1 & 2. pic of mags from new Russian I picked up a while back. http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2006-1/1128588/mag1.JPG That's just sick. That prolly means the Maks were new, unissued... |
An anitigun gun company! The apocalypse has come! Get ready for the fight boys!
I think I just died a little.
I have yet to shoot a mak, but the sight of the massacre makes me depressed. |
I was shooting my Mak today. I need to hide these pictures before I clean him tonight.
I thought HK's just shredded brass so you can't reload (reason I don't own any, picked up brass after them at the range, and most of the ones I have seen EAT it)..... looks like they are branching out.
Now I have a new reason to hate HK..... and not smart on there part. I mean, they think every gun they destroy is one more possible HK sale. BUT I bet every gun buyer that sees that will NEVER buy ANY of there products. And as for departments hear destroying gun...... the people should know.... Thinking off all the 1911's this country killed..... now I am getting sad...... soooooo sad....... |
This is terrible, but it COULD be some sort of market scheme by H&K... Think about it, chances are, allll those Maks WOULD have been imported to the U.S. and then H&K sales here would have gone down... Just a thought...

I can tell you that the Estonians hate anything Russian. They surely enjoyed destroying these pistols, whether they were assembled in Russia or not...just the name.

I mean, they think every gun they destroy is one more possible HK sale. .... I agree thats their thinking.People who are buying used makarovs for a primary defense weapon are not going to be even consdering an H&K... Seriously, Never seen a post " help me pick a handgun H&K or Makarov" lol... |
Does anyone else see that in the very last picture of the first post, the guy is holding a bunch of mangled pistols.... but the pistols are 1911's and not Makarov's...

Estonia was part of the Soviet Union in WWII and would have gotten tons of lend-lease 1911 and Tommy Guns. All of which they just put in storage and never used. Jesus wept. |
