I don't have one, but have read many good things about them. I have other obligations right now, but an XD9 is on my list of guns to get. You know, you'll probably get a better deal if you buy two. It just so happens, that my birthday was Tuesday.

Ask me again in about a week as the Portland gun show cannot get here fast enough...  I hope to pick up an XD-40 based on reading all of the posts on this site.

Now if only every one of you guys who talked me into the pistol would send a couple of bucks to defray acquisition costs...

I have an XD 40 Tactical. Of all my guns it will  be one of the last ones to go. Naw, I am taking it with me. Sweet shooter.

Hey, I'd even make it easier on everyone and do matching funds.  I'll put up $200 and you guys have had your share halved already to a $1 each!

can't blame us for trying can they flinterfan ,oh well guess I'll have to work that overtime somemore. Might go for the DX9 though because of the mag. interchage with the .40mag 15rds. don't seem right , isn't the .40 a wider case cartrage ? But---you lose the power of the heavier .40 slug. HELP I'M SO CONFUSED what do I do ?

It's a great gun. I have two of the original HS-2000s. Check out more info on the whole line at hs2000talk.com. You'll find out just about everything you want to know over there. I'd say that you can't beat them for the price but I'd also just about say that you just can't beat them. Good luck.

I had a Sig 226 in .40 that was too big for concealed carry, a buddy made an offer for it and I sold it and regretted it right off the bat.  So I go shopping for a new .40.  I did not care for the HK or Glock(doesn't fit my hand).  I am sure the Walther is fine but it doesn't look like it would hide well either. While I was there 2 XD's were sold.  So I take a look at one, it fits, I had read good things about them and the price was great, so what could I loose.

I took it out the first time this weekend, this thing shoots like a dream.  I tried 155, 165, and 180's.  It seems to like the 165 the best. This thing shoots better than my Sig did and 250 bucks cheaper!

I am sold, I may get the compact in 9mm now.

I really want an HK USP. The XD is about half the price. What, if anything, am I giving up with the XD? It will be months before I can afford an HK. I'm thinking about getting an XD tomorrow.

Picked up a 5 inch Tactical 40S&W model for the wife , she loves it( so do I). Am a big Glock fan and think it is a improvement over the Glock.  One question? How on earth do you drift the rear sight??  Have beat the hell out of it w/ a BIG hammer and BIG brass punch, no movement at all. HELP!!!!

If you're worried about using the .40 mags, you can also use modifed Beretta 92FS high cap mags in the XD9.
