Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 1911 mags in a CW45?

The other day I was downloading from my Springfield and loading up my CW45 and on a lark slapped a magazine into the Kahr from the 1911 and LO and behold it locked in, tight too!  Didn't chamber a round as I didn't have any snap caps handy, but has anyone tried this?  The feed lips are different and the kahr won't lick back but...

Some will work with modification and I run a couple myself
