I have a number of  Glock 17 & Glock 22 magazine bodies without the followers, they are all the "Drop Free" square cut backs.

How can I tell what followers (follower #) to purchase to assemble them?

As I understand it the latest Glock 17 followers (the cup style the spring fits into) will not work with earlier drop free mags.

Thanks

Anyone have a good armorers PowerPoint? I have one for basic cleaning and disassembly but not complete tear down.

There should be mention of the best .45 auto Glock of all. The Glock G30S,

It was conceived by mating a Glock G36 slide with a Glock G30SF frame.

Originally made for LAPD's SIS section of the robbery/homicide division and finally made as producion model known as the G30S.

It weighs 22.95 ounces with an unloaded magazine and has nearly the same external dimensions of the Glock 19 and 23, except it's a little shorter from the bottom of the magazine to the top of the slide. It will fit in many Glock 19/23 holsters as well as a few Glock 30/29/30SF/29SF holsters.

It ships with ten round magazines that have an extended floorplate to allow your pinky to comfortably rest. It's grip prints somewhat less under a shirt when carried concealed than the G19/23, especially when an IWB holster is used.

I have been carrying and shooting this model for about a year now and absolutely love it.

I'm working on a spreadsheet for parts compatibility. I have downloaded the 11 page Glock parts list for armorers from this forum; that is what I'm working from. I have started with all gens for the the 17, 19, 26, 22, 23, 27, 17L, 34, 35, and 24. (I would like to add the 19X and 45).

I need help with my spreadsheet. Some of the notes on the parts list from Glock aren't clear to me, and I think there are some things I could add with an asterisk (like a G17 smooth trigger in a G19).

I need someone to double check my work, fill in things I couldn't figure out, and offer any other suggestions. I'm currently using Excel; I have converted it to PDF, and could also just make it a jpg.

Any takers?

Edit: for those interested, I'm on Rev 5 of the spreadsheet. I've made some decent progress and have quite a few part numbers and compatibility options.

Nice compilation. Everything in one place, though now, the pics need updating.
