Are they on the market yet?

I have heard rumors that some one like ameriglo is going to have them, but I haven't seen anything yet. I'll ask my LGS if they know anything about them yet.

Guns are usually on the street for more than 3 to 5 days before companies start making aftermarket parts or accessories for them.

Are you sure that a set for a 26 won't fit?   I'll have to check the width on a spare set.

I compared my G19 and G42 sights.  I didn't measure them, but the front appears to be a standard front sight, while the rear is noticeably narrower.  The G19 rear sight has one dash, while the G42 has a dash with a smaller dash below it.  Since the G26 and G19 have the same width sights, they would also be too large.

I stripped the front sight from my g27 and put it on my 42. Fit was the same. I havent shot it yet though to check poa poi. Id like to get a new rear sight now.

I think the rear will be of more concern than the front. So far, the only one that I have seen on any distributor sights is ameriglo.

until someone makes G42 specific NS just use the factory rear with any tritium front.

Ameriglo has night sights for the G42. They have three dot green or green front/yellow rear. I placed a backorder with GT Distributor for the G42 and they had the sights in stock and put a set back for when my gun arrives.

Ameriglo has them listed but they are sold out.

This is what I was planning to do, buy my favorite front sight, and flip the rear sight around. I'm not sure if it'll work though. I compared the front sights on my G19/26, and the mounting hole on the G42 looks closer to the end of the slide, which makes sense due to it's small size. It looks like the front end of the sight will overhang the slide.
I think I'll just wait and see if someone makes a set of mini Hack's for it.

XS makes rear sights with and without tritium for the regular Glocks.  I don't know about the G42 sights though.
