I trying to determine the proof I need and where to get said "proof".

They saw that I had an AK 47.

I wasn't carrying an AK as my CCW. There is no CCW in Tennessee.

Open carry is not brandishing. Having a pistol on a sling is not brandishing.Maybe, then again maybe not. Forward slung guns are a somewhat different proposition to underarm or across the back. Put your hand on the grip to stabilize or adjust it and gee what is the guy 30 yards away thinking you are doing?

Yet, I never put my hand on the pistol grip so how is that brandishing?

Site staff has deleted multiple pictures of your orange tipped gun, yet you insult them by posting another picture of it. They don't like having to clean up after posters like you again, and again, and again.

We had to beg site staff to pull our Draco topic back out of the trash - our 24 page topic that is being used by many for reference almost was destroyed due to you and your blaze orange tip.

We warned you about asking for trouble with the law, and you've dreamed up a thread to stir the pot.

You make all of us firearm owners look bad, and if your little tale here is true you're going to end up on the news looking like a complete maniac. If it isn't true then you're nothing more than a troll.

I'm not discussing an orange tipped gun you are.
I didn't ask for trouble with the law they said my handgun was a rifle and nearly arrested me for it.
You are the troll if you post here and make no attempt to answer my question.

And that is why you got in the situation you did... Several of us, myself included have similar weapons/toys, but we have the wherewithal to make the distinction between an actual "handgun" and a stockless rifle that happens to be classified as a pistol...
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should...

ETA:
If you're gonna continue with this kinda crap, i would suggest at least getting the receiver engraved "pistol" and refinishing, removes a little doubt...
And lose the orange paint, no matter your reasons for it in the first place...

My AR pistol (or a plain ol' AR) is usually in the trunk btw...

Well, this thread is the end for the OP. I have no idea if it is a true story, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is. When you go looking for trouble you normally can find it. The same happens here as in real life.
