What makes it even worse is it appears to be mounted on the Dust Cover.
I take it that is bad news?? But do the side mounts keep zero in if you remove them for cleaning? |
And what makes it horrifying is the pressure switches to the light and laser.
Lots of people have a laser sight and a 6-24x scope on the same rifle |
didn't see it coming.....geeez |
You should post that in the Competition Shooting & the Accurate AR forum.
Seriously. |
I wonder how that set up will look on my m92? Maybe we shouldn't be so hard on him, hell he may be a member here. Hell he's going to be pissed when he goes to post pics of his new rig and finds they have already been posted
ETA: I thought my 1P21 looked huge on my psl. |
No, no, no, no, no, no, no. That would be trolling........... |

Wait a minute - you're right. My bad. How about we start an "Accurate AK" forum? Sometimes I kill myself... |
If I were still there I'd have confiscated the Russian sling and put a bungie cord in it's place.......
I thought there was a law against this somewhere......
Maybe it was about mounting scopes that were longer than the barrel of the gun the scope is being mounted on. I think it was an obscenity law.. |
Yes, it's a waste of a nice Russian sling. I'd love to see how many times his cable gets caught in his safety lever. Lift it fast enough you'd probably cut through the cable. |
Nope, it's a WASR.........no mag well dimples. |
What's the point of putting a flashlight on it if the scope is on there... It makes about as much sense as the laz0r...
Wrong. No dimples, it's a WASR. I can see a POSP scope on an AK, but that thing is an abomination. |
Imagine someone walking into the store when that guy is posing like that Is that the NEW AK guru that they replaced you with Tim?
Even though it's not a scope. My Kobra has never lost its zero after re-mounting it. Mounting a scope or any other optic on the dust cover is bad. It's the worst and most unstable way to mount one. |
you love your troll status don't you. |
No shit. |
We don't even know the story on this. Maybe the guy just sold his shotgun and wanted to put the scope on something rather than it collecting dust.
Worse part is, now I have to somehow get that image out of my mind and try to get the Dr. Pepper I laughed out my nose out of the keyboard!
it would have been funnier on a an AK krinkov pistol or an AR pistol with a 7 inch barrel...
Please tell me the last picture of the dude posing with the gun is an employee joking, and not the actual owner.
Because if that's the owner it makes his rig 3000 times more rediculous. |
While reading it, my first thought was to post my "keep that crap off of my AK" picture. Then I saw you took care of that already!
It's even an Adjustable Objective scope...with a sunshade. I guess he's going to go pop prairie dogs with it...at night? Maybe that's a moonshade?
.....Still waiting for the member here, who's rifle that is, to fess up!
Cripes, you don't have to worry about the inability to mount a bayonet, you just jab the enemy with the scope shade!!!
[ETA] The only thing that could have topped that is if it was an SBR Krinkov, with the sunshade extending past the end of the barrel! |
That is the second most absolutely ignorant thing I have ever seen.

"Quoted:

Truly the funniest sardonic comment for the whole post. Kudos. When I see people do this to an AK I just think, man-o-man what are you thinking, then I think well, it's a matter of personal taste. I try to see thier side. Some guys do some pretty bizzare stuff to thier rigs. Perhaps this cat actually has a purpose for this setup. Dunno, just trying to give an AK brother the benefit of the doubt. |
