I have a Romey G kit that I want to have built using a Bulgarian Front Sight Block and Gas Chamber combination like this: Here

I don't really care for the 74 threads and will more then likely cut that off so that I can use standard breaks. Any idea where I could find one?
I don't care if it is new or used, just as long as it is in good shape. This will go off to a builder.

Any help on this is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Drew

I have an SGL31 at a builder waiting for this exact part. They only come in from Bulgaria ever so often.

I'd keep an eye out on EE, Gunbroker, but these come up pretty rarely.

I picked one up from Desert Fox Sales, he sells them for $59, http://www.desertfoxsales.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=DFS-013

I'm using on a Saiga build, going for the CR107 look.

It's not chrome lined, so I'd say it's probably US made.

Yeah.. I was looking for that the other day and never saw it on their site.. The Bolton looks sweet! I do have a complete 16" 5.56 front end from KVar with the bulgy combo gas/site that I haven't used yet

call krebs, they have these made and in small qty so they don't always list what they have on thei site. they are very nice, chrome lined and fit my saiga perfectly.

I've considered the Bolton type for my Saiga .223 also. When I inquired about them on the Saiga site, I was told "there have been issues with them moving". No specifics, just that statement. The Krebs was the first one I'd ever considered, but they were discontinued on the site by the time I finally got around to ordering one. I did email them and was told they weren't making them anymore. But...that was quite some time ago. If enough people asked about them maybe they'd go back into production on them. Greg

I am not aware of any US made copies of that part.  Could be some unfinished pieces that were brought in.  Who knows.

Here are some pictures of the one that I picked up from Desert Fox, my only complaint with it is that the front site post hole is going to need to be opened up to allow the site to move for windage.

Has anyone ever used one of these?  What does it take to install a FSB/GB combo?

That's a shame about the Krebs units. I just bought some about maybe four months ago. I haven't used them yet but they are chrome lined and look good.

I didn't want the threads or plunger hole either. I would call them maybe they could come up with one.

That just looks like the drum is in lightly off angle.  should be able to straighten it up.

I think I saw some on ak-builder.com

I'm pretty sure that actual Krink FSB place the FSP in a higher plane than the regular FSB. Thats due to the extra height on the rear sights of the Krink. Watch out for that and make sure your planes are going to line up.
