It might just be a fluke, but if your name is Bob F*****, your account info is visible after using that link. |

Thanks for the link, I just warmed up the old credit card!
I was disappointed at the gunshow I went to today. One guy had Wolf and wanted $179/case. Another guy told me to make him an offer because he was almost sold out. I told him that if he wouldn't give me a price, I would not deal with him and walked away from his table. |
no problem i just randomly came across it and was shocked to see it was in stock. THOSE AMMO PRICES YOU JUST SAID ARE OUTRAGOUS!!!! btw ive tried a couple of times but i still dont see any account info of that guy which is a good thing.
the old stock numbers appear to be valid for the wolf ammo at cabella's. i got an email that said that my order had shipped for 94.99 / 1000 rounds plus shipping.
What are the old stock numbers at Cabellas? I need to order a couple cases.
w00t i put a 1k round case of 7.62x39 wolf on back order and they just shipped it. $98 cant toutch that price here in town if you can even find it.
going shootin this weekend! |
Just talked to them. Shipment to arrive on the 20th. Their computers will be updated on the 21st. First come first serve on the backorder list depending on how much they recieve.
I ordered 1k rds last Wednesday and it will be here this Wednesday. 115 bucks shipped.
THANKS GUYS!!!
The shop I buy from was trying to charge $8.50 per 20 rounds!!! NO WAY!!! I just ordered 2 tins.. Thanx again... RW3 |
Try $14 per 20. Shop owners get wind of something, and think that people are actually stupid enough to pay.
Yeah, that's ridiculous. A couple of weeks ago at a local gunshow somebody was charging 13.50 for a box of wolf .45. hahahahaha! yeah right! That afternoon I bought 5 boxes for 7.99 each.
12.5¢ per round (plus shipping) is a good deal? My how things have changed in a year. Oh well. At least it is in stock. |
I got my spam can today and went straight into storage.
There was Wolf 7.62X39 at the Indy 1500 Gun and Knife Show for $150 to $160 a 1000. One dealer said there was as true shortage and I said I believed it was a created shortage. At any rate, it was there. I went home and ordered some from Cabelas. It said the item was back ordered, but I'm sure it'll be in soon.
What is all this about anyway? AK ammo is and always has been as common as dirt. |
I went to Cabelas in Hamberg Pa on Saturday and they had alot of Wolf 7.62x39, in boxes with the spam can inside the box. I could only find the HP however. Just an FYI!
Thanks! Just ordered a case. $115.74 out the door for 1k of the 154gn SP fodder. Never shot it before but should go bang in my AK when i get it.
Has anyone had their backorder filled by Cabelas lately?
I've had a case sitting in backorder status for close to a month even after contacting them 2 weeks ago and they said it should be shipped next week. That must have been a loooong week! Still I guess the price is right. |
I noticed that is for the 154grain soft point 7.62x39. How does that shoot compared with the 123 grain? |
I just ordered a spam can FMJ. When I went to order it didn't say anything about it being backordered. Then when I got the email confirmation it said it's backordered with no date. Anyone else in the same boat? Do they actually have any ammo on hand?
I received two spam cans from this thread last week. One to store and one to run through my new underfolder. Thanks for the heads up on these!!! Those cans are a pain to open. Any tips??
I opened the one I plan to take to the range and threw away the "opening device" it came with and when my second tin arrived, it didn't have one of those tools and I think thinking about opening it and transferring it to a ammo can for easier accessibility |
impact ammo tin opener ammo tin opener $4.99 Item #: OT1162 ETA,, never used it before, so don't know if it works on the Wolf cans but you might recognize it.. John P.. |

I just got notified that my 2K rounds from cabelas will be arriving today.
That will give me about 3500 rounds in stock. Not much compared to some of you guys, but its a lot for me. |
I am sitting in about the same boat. |
I used the sale code someone had posted in this forum and ordered 2k of the fmj.. Got notification and tracking info, that mine shipped on 3-27-06.. Too bad I don't have any receivers for my AKs lol..
John P.. |
LOL ordered mine a week ago with the old #, and it shipped yesterday. $107 for 1000 rds FMJ and 2 dry boxes..... AHH..... lifes good...... my AK will breath again!!! i just need to find 2 more kits to build up on my 2 receivers i have.
Hmmmmm...... what kinda kits do you have???? |
Their "packaging" sure is wasteful. 500 rounds in boxes in a bag per dry store, when they can easily hold 1000. Maybe these are "premade" for 500 round sales? Oh well, now I've got 2 empty drystores and 2 full ones!!

I'm seeing prices of $68/500 in the tins and $130/1K regular. Did they have a sale???
Yes....yes they did My 2k arrived yesterday....couldn't be happier! |
