Anybody try to fit a Yugo barrel in a Romanian  trunion? The only used barrels I'm finding are Yugo.

Be very cautious buying used yugo barrels. Most are shot out sewer pipes. I just mic'ed a new one and the main journal appears to be the same but it is obvious that the rest ( as in the fsb, gb, hg retainer, etc.) are all bigger and spaced differently.  So I supose you could turn them all down, if you have a lathe.

Easy answer is no.....Yugo barrel is larger than Romy trunnion and spaced differently for all the barrel parts. Unless you have a lathe and are a machinest it would be a no-go.
