Hogue Handall Grips

They say the Handall Jr. works on AR grips, but was wondering if anyone has tried the regular Handall (or the Jr.).  Don't think it'll work because they're meant for thicker grips...

I use the regular on my CAV lowers.
I like it.

I use the regular Hogue AR pistol grip on my aluminum lowers tho'.
Never tried a handall on a regular pistol grip.

I love the way the Hogue rubber grips feel.  I had a Handal on my Glock but got rid of it when it wore out.
I have an Overmolded stock on my 10-22 that I would not be without!  It is the best feeling stock I have ever had period!
I have Hogue Overmolded grips on my Springfield Armory P9 (CZ75 clone) that I really like a lot.

There is just something about that Overmolded rubber that I like.  You can get a good grip even in very wet or hot sweaty conditions and it is great in the cold.

No play in the sleeve?  (Nice and tight?)

Are the Hogue grips a bit thicker than the A2 grips?

I used one on my 3rd Gen. G17 for awhile. Was nice a tight at first and was a bitch to get on.  I felt ok but it would swivel around and end up sideways after  shooting for awhile.  Maybe it was operator error, I don't know.  My fix?  I took the thing off and run the Glock stock like it was suppose to run.

I have one on my CZ-52. It's like night and day. A definate improvement. I also have one designed for my CZ-75. It gives be a better grip and makes my hand line up the same way each time I pick up my CZ-75. So far I really like the Hogue products.

I used them for several years on A2 grips.  However, they invariably ended up getting a small tear on the bottom or top edge from rough handling, which would spread and make the whole thing useless.  I also wore smooth spots on the inside edge above the swell from my thumb.
Then I discovered the MIAD.  I don't use the Handall anymore.

I keep hearing great stuff about the MIAD, but have yet to find any real info on it.

Go do a search in the AR forum on accessories and you will probably find a lot of info about it.  You could also go to the industry partner section and get some more info.  Richard Pitzpatrick also posts on here all the time.  If you haven't found any info on it you haven't looked hard enough.  I did a lot of research on this site to get the info I used to buy the MIAD.  Stickman even has pics of a MIAD that his dog chewed on in a thread.  There's lots of info here about them.
ETA:  Just did a quick search for you:

Thanks for the threads.  They are most useful.  http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

You're right I hadn't done enough looking.  Yesterday I discovered some of those threads (MIAD Bone )
