I'll be getting my GRSC w/ an SPR-E mount soon...I am definitely not TAGging this.....

anyone else realize there's only been 2 guns posted that aren't using a Larue scope mount?
and I really would like to see prices, if anyone wants to add them. |
Short Dot - ~$2200 Meopta - ~$700 (and climbing) IOR - ~$700 (and climbing) Burris - ~$500 Millett - ~$250 GRSC - ~$350 (introductory price) NightForce - ~$1200 Leupold - ~$800 (illuminated model) Trijicon - ~$550 US Optics SN-4 - ~$1350 (illuminated model) US Optics SN-4S - ~$1250 (illuminated slimline model) I can't find a price on the Horus. Anyone? I'd also like to see the list of scopes that have been confirmed as a true 1x. |
Very Cool.
Pics up soon. What happens to sight pic when using 1x power and std A2 sight post??? |
Me too, and me neither. |
My illuminated SN4 was $1250, which is their current price.... |
Well, according to usoptics.com the SN-4 is $1165 plus $185 for the illumination. That's $1350 before shipping. I thought $1400 was a fair approximation. What am I missing? It does appear they offer an SN-4 and an SN-4S. I don't know what the "S" model does differently, but it is $100 cheaper |
THe Horus is about $825 from G&R Tactical. It is a true 1x. They have new verions out with new reticles which look nice, but I don't know the price. |
Jeff, they're beautiful. Now if I bend over will you give me one to take home?
Because the "other brand" really suck balls. |
Glock, I'm a retard. I looked at the SN4S, which is the slimline model and is actually the more desireable of the 2 as it's more likely to fit over backup irons, etc. At least that's what most seem to order. We were both right, but it wasn't right for me to say that you were wrong. |
No worries. I updated my thread to include both, and I agree the slimline model is the best way to go with an AR platform. I run an SN-3S on my AR and there is plenty of room for my Troy BUIS. |
me three... minus the tag part, of course. |

I am new at this forum so here is my contributionhenI love this scopeh.gif
The mount is a QR system from Kilic feintechnik germany an uses the Zeiss rail system http://www.spitsheuvel.nl/patrick/Zeiss2.JPG http://www.spitsheuvel.nl/patrick/Zeiss3.JPG |
will that rig clear a TROY battle sight? |
Not sure if it will or not. I dont have a rear sight, thats why its not seen in the pic. |

What muzzle brake is this? |
Surefire MB68? The only folks I know off the top of my head that use an adapter that looks like that. I'm not for certain though... never heard of them doing anything in 6.8 before. |
Yes, it's a Surefire MB68AR brake/QD mount. I'm waiting on the FA68AR suppressor to go with it... Both are specific to 6.8SPC. |

Could anyone tell me how long the Millet is? Can't find dimensions anywhere. TIA.
MM...I will measure mine tonight. |
Thanks Army. They all seem to be 11" or longer except for the Loopy which is a bit over 9". |
wonder if it is good in the BRIGHT FL SUN |
Why are there not more of the Leupold 1.5 X 5 scopes, (other than that this is a 1x4 thread)- is there a consensus out there that they are not as good as the others? I have been looking at the Larue package mount/scope and trying to decide whether to get one or just get an Aimpoing 3x magnifier/larue mount to go behind my Eotech. What's best for general bunny-bustin' and coyote hunting?
