Where did the little 3 poxer scope come from? I am not familiar with it? Does it make the aimpoints dot bigger in appearance? I have been thinking about switching to an aimpoint but I have also been looking for a small scope. This might be the anwser.

Sorry Oki I wasn't making fun of you, just a little friendly jabbing
I use my 3x magnifier with both Aimpoints and EOTech.  I recently moved the 3x + EOTech to my HK weapon because I went back to ACOGs.  The sight picture is small, and the FOV is narrow compared to a 4x ACOG.  It does give the Aimpoint and EOTech some new found capabilities at the expense of additional weight and bulk.  If I were stuck using Aimpoint or EOTech, I'd consider the 3x a necessity.

Thanks for the review!

When you post more pics, can you post one of the other side?  I'd like to see the release lever, thanks!

Why does the moulding on the side of the 3x Magnifier have AIMPOINT moulded into it?

What other choices of mounts are available?

I don't like the idea of flipping the magnifier over to the side.  Hinges break.

Here are three 100 yard groups with the above LMT MRP 16"SS and the CompM3 and 3X Magnifier shot with 75 grain TAP during some light rain and some wind from a covered concrete bench. For these shots the Aimpoint was zeroed at 100 yards, although I have now re-zeroed it for 50.
Bipod front, bag rear, just lined the dot up on the center of the target reasonably well and fired away without exercising any extreme level of trigger discipline or breathing control. Just comfortable sometimes semi rapid fire shooting.
Now the 16"SS LMT MRP, the KAC 2-stage trigger, the TAP ammo, the Aimpoint 2 MOA sight & 3X Magnifier, ARMS & Samson mounts, and my limited eyesight & shooting skills all combined to give what I would say were excellent results.
As far as I am concerned, this combination really rocks!

Get a CQT.  That thing is just a cheap alternative to a power ring that costs a lot more.
