Anyone try the LaRue Tactical Leupold CQT Mount yet or do I need to be the guinea pig on this one?

Looks like I have one on the way from C4iGrant...looking forward to getting it and trying it out.

I received the mount from G and R tactical today, thanks for the quick service!  It looks like a well made quality piece.  I'll be installing it when I go to the range on Tuesday because I want to keep the gun zeroed until then.

On a related note, I shot the rifle/shotgun match today with the CQT on my carbine and all around it is a decent optic.  I would have done better on the long range stage with my 20" with bipod and TA31F, but I did better on the CQB stage than I would have done using that configuration.  I definitely shot better long range with the CQT than I did last month when I tried using my Aimpoint.

After doing a 50 yard zero earlier in the week, I used the CQT with LaRue mount at the monthly rifle/shotgun on my 20" Fluted HBAR today.:

Long Range rifle stage:



8 targets had to be engaged from two positions.  I shot this stage on the 3 power setting.  The first string from the prone I had a bit of a hard time, particularly having to take a lot of shots at one of the LaRue flag targets that was malfunctioning for everyone.  The second string from behind the table, I only needed one shot per target and they went down.







CQB Stage:
Engage all the targets as they become visible.  Shooter starts kneeling in the box and advances to the steps to take the 3 longer range targets at the back of the bay....shooter then moves through the kill house engaging targets, avoiding the no shoots.

I shot this stage all on the one power setting.  All my hits were A-zones, the two shots fired at the back targets weren't more than 2" apart on any of them.















I'm going to start using this rifle a lot more for competition, I liked the versatility and how it handled.  The LaRue CQT mount is infinitely better than the factory mount, and I'm more confident about the scope staying in place and zeroed with it mounted on there.
