Really small gunstore has the 100rd value packs for $32.99. Should I buy them all, or just reload my own?

I realize its not XM193, but is the brass atleast decent. I would rather spend my time reloading ammo for my precision AR then for blasting ammo.

I bought a box to try out....

THis seems to be some quality .223, as the primers are crimped and have sealant on them. I hate how they used exact packing of the XM193, its confusing. Looking at the brass though, it almost looks to be reloaded. I think my ultramax's brass looked better.

Maybe this weekend I can shoot some groups with my SPR and see how this fairs.

From the title of your thread "American Tactical"  I thought you were talking about these:

I've shot the American Eagle 5.56 XM193. Shoots okay but not very accurate.

The AT 223 looks to be the same as the Federal bulk pack Walmart sells. Looks like the exact same thing plus it's packed the same as well.

Walmart Federal bulk pack 100 rounds for $40.00
Palmetto State AT 223 100 rounds for $30.00

Accuracy wasnt so great. The difference in POI between the first and second target are most likely because the target on the left were the first 5 shots of the day, the one of the right is after the barrel warmed up a bit.

Also this was shot right after this showing that the rifle is capable....

Wow, I just got back from cabela's and they had two stacks of 20rd black boxed American eagle right next to eachother for the same price. I thought it was all XM193, but one said XM193 and the other AE223. If you werent paying attention you can find yourself easily buying a crapload of .223 expecting XM193. I honestly cannot believe they use the exact same boxes!

What's tactical about 223 and why on earth would they pack it on strippers?  Something is funny.

Twice I almost placed an order for the Tactical 223 when I wanted 5.56.

No they defiently werent reloads, but they look like there were in a tumbler for just a little bit, because the brass wasnt shiny, or dirty like most of LC and federal ammo. The brass looks like brass you would tumble without any kind of added chemicals to make it shiny.
