I have read the same scuttlebutt that many of you probably have seen over the past few weeks about the new 5.56 brown tip ammo for short barreled weapons. Went to the Barnes website and there it was, a 70-gr triple shock X boat tail .224 bullet with a sectional density of .199 and a ballistic coefficient of .314. Looks nasty. Anybody shoot this stuff yet? Where can you get some? I guess now that the cat is out of the bag and the military plans to use it, reloaders can probably approximate the load.
