Cheap Wolf at Sportsmans Guide.
http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?p=AX5M1&i=52591 |
yeah but how far are they backordered and how much are they getting in?
I ordered 3000 rnds, my cost w/shipping was $307.12
I had $25 off using spg coupons 2453 and 2689 in two transactions. Great deal and I'm in no hurry to get it. |
When ordering ammo from Sportsmans Guide online, when does their "heavy/bulky" come into play? I've only seen one item with that desription on it so far (1000 rounds of .44 mag).
What it looks like to me is that for orders over 250.00 there is only a shipping fee of 19.99. Can anyone confirm this for ammo shipping? I'll call them when they are open. But just wondering over the weekend. Dave |
They only charge your card when it ships and if you are a member of the buyers club they will
split it into 4 payments. |
Thanks ordered 2000 rounds for $194 after fatwallet.com 6% cash back great deal!!
Just sent off my order for 1000! Happy Fathers day to me
Thx Fro |
So I joined the buyers club, used a $10 discount code, and got 5,000 rounds shipped to me for $539.57.
Hellz yeah. Thanks again for the heads up. |
Where's the 62 grain at that price!!!!!!!!!
I can only find it for $125. |
Join the club and they will give u a break on price and shipping...i got my 1000 for $125 after shipping and everything |
Good find! This looks like an older catalog stock number.
$104.97 less $10 (coupon #SPG2689) + $13.99 shipping = $108.96/1000 delivered. |
2,000 rounds ordered. Thanks for the headsup.
With the Buyer's Club and the GNS discount, I paid less than $200 for 2k. |
you can all thank me for this find |
me too! i want to try this place out, i have not used them yet but have heard good things so far. |
stevegc, 1lostinspace, Great find. Couldn't let this pass me by. 2K for $204.00. Regular price is $129.00 1K. I joined the SG shopping club and I get their email and snail mail flyers. Nothing in the latest catalog or notification through email. Glad you guy's caught it. Nevis |

Cut and paste the link from the first post. That'll take you there. |
If the original link doesn't work for you, you can use this one too. www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=175653 |
Thanks, I got a "website n-a" from the first post as well and couldn't locate this particular deal when I went the the S-G site directly. |

I bought 2k. This is the cheapest I have seen ammo in probably six months or more. This thread should be a sticky.
Don't forget to use the correct discount coupons
2000 rounds inbound. I should have read the entire thread before ordering, would have saved myself 15 bucks Still a good deal though.
5k for me, too. Interestingly enough the coupon codes add an extra zero to the rebate.
SPG2662 is for $2,000 of any order of $249.99 or more...I doubt they'll honor it. |
Call and cancel the order. Then send it again with the coupon. |
just ordered - Thanks so much Steve for letting everyone know about this deal.
Also - a big thanks goes out to Mak for the coupon codes |
Will this 55 grain stuff shoot out of a 1-7 twist barrel?
I tried the 62 grain, but can't get it at the same price cause I'm not a member. |
Nope it wont shoot out of a 1/7 twist it is so light it will get stuck........to prevent this send all your 55 grain stuff for proper disposal to me :) To answer your question.....It wont do as well as the 62 grain but it will be good enough for practice. |
The price has nothing to do with membership. The 52gr is cheaper for whatever reason, whether it's a special or an older part number they forgot to delete. btw, backorder data is now 08/01/06. |
Holy shit.... Glad I got my order in when the back order date was June 30th.. |
holy crap 11,000 rounds? Do you plan to shoot all that? If you can't carry it then it just means you leaving more for the enemy
I read about Hamburger Hill recently and it mentioned how the US Army captured 75k rounds in the Viet Cong Command bunker. 11k means your ammo depot is 1/7th that of the entire VC unit on Hamburger Hill |
How cool is that?! BTW am I missing something? I would like to get the 62 gr but don't see it for the same price as the 55gr. Is this right? Or did I miss it? Thanks |
