UPDATE 4/10/06 9:39pm BACK in STOCK @ ammoman
OMG, thanks a lot! His Website seems to be down at the moment... H!
He got that back in stock pretty quick. I wonder if it will go as quick as it did last time.
Either way, I just ordered 4k from Mirage for about the same price. |
Maybe thats an ok price if you live in CA but that is way to high shipping figured in to a neighboring state. He should have east coast and west coast shipping prices.
BD |
He's based out of NJ. About an hour from my house. If you pick it up he gives you a good deal. |
Just got my order in. I talked with Eric and they are going to pull it tonight because they are about out. He was not in the office so order on line.
Thanks for the update, 1K orderedhug.gif

Strong in this one, the dark side is? Not a personal attack RED, just groovin with the Star Wars theme. May the force be with you! One order from Eric the Ammoman so far for me, 100% +1... Edited to try and correct Yoda-Fu grammar! |
No dark side here... all my experinces with ETAM in the past were positive. However, I do believe people should be informed. Do what you will wtih the the link. |

Read entire post, suffice to say, I spent $500 in two other stores instead of at ammoman, I almost bought his stuff and I decided to look at his feedback first. Damn Glad I did. Life is to shot to buy from a vendor who (right or wrong) refuses to take care of $400 bucks inlight of that post. Why would he care about his customers when he doesnt even care about his own business. |
How bout ya'll just stick to the facts - there is a feedback thread to discuss his business practices.
Very tempting.
But too rich for my blood. But if Ammoman is getting it back in, maybe others will get it soon too. |
Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on your point of view, I don't get to shoot as much as many here. For less than the current cost for 500 rounds, I can finish getting the stuff to reload .223. At $280 per k, screw 'em all.
I will throw rocks at targets before I'll buy ammo from Ammoman.
Do tell - did you post this in the Guat thread? Details details! |
do you know how much he gives you off for say a case of XM193 or whatever? I live about 15 minutes from him but never delt with him thanks! |
it is Berlin, the address is on his website |
+1 I won't prostitute myself for a lower price. |
Good, glad to hear it, that leaves more for us.......... Order placed. Mike |

+1 This isn't the place for this discussion. Tack |

Warning folks of a business with a recently developed history or shady dealings is very well appropriate. One of a few reasons people come here is to find out where to SAFELY spend their money. |
I 2nd K-9 on his comment. I can shop prices all over the place. I want to find good people to spend my money with. Good on you.
Have been thinking the same thing. With prices going up it may be time to dust off the reloader |
I wonder how many people who denounced him will secretly order XM193 from him.
As I am posting this Ammoman still has this ammo for sale. The last time he had this in stock it was gone in 1 day. So I don't know if people are ordering less or if he has larger stock. I have ordered ammo from him for years and never had a problem. I live in NY and get my order the next day. I have seen the post regarding the bring back SKS and it just seems like a bad business move on Eric's part. Not using common sense. |
NONE OF MY MONEY! NEVER AGAIN Link to drama... |
I wonder what it feels like to so far over your head. |
Not another penny from me - EVER.
Isn't it gratifying to see the AR15.com community pull together when one of their own is screwed over by a shady businessman. |
The great thing about USA is that we have a freedom/choice whoever we want to buy from. Sometimes it's hard to make the right choice and but the bottom line is, you as an individual have to make a choice by how strong you feel about it.
Just like the CONOCO situation where in Oklahoma, where they fired a bunch of people who had loaded/unloaded Guns in their cars without notifying employee's before hand that Guns in Cars in parking lots was not acceptable. I think they were having the local Law enforcement make a sweep, looking for Drugs which was the original intent. Well, I stopped buying Gas or anything from ConocoPhillips stations that was connected to them. You always have a choice and have to live with the choice you make, there is no shame to warrant hiding the fact you still buy from them if you feel it is still OK. At lease I am grateful that we have someplace else to shop for the same type product. XM193 (Good scarce Ammo) versus Business Ethics of Ammoman. If you still feel he is OK then buys it. If do not, don't. Sometimes it can become tough choice for other and not for some. |
I have never had a problem with Ammoman. I have ordered thousands of rounds of ammo with absolutely no trouble.
And I just ordered 3,000 more rounds of XM193 a few minutes ago. I also plan to order a few thousand rounds from Georgia Arms. |
I've read (and posted in) the relevant threads. I am very disappointed in his behavior in this matter (assuming it was accurately recounted) and have said so, but I personally have also had zero problems with him over the course of many, many ammo orders. I've already ordered some of this XM193 from him and see no reason for it to be any kind of "secret"... |
