Wholesale Hunter is having a special on XM193. It came out to $162/1000 WITH shipping to California, which is not bad.

They have all LOTS, so I contacted the guy and he said if you don't want a certain lot, you have to enter that into the special instructions section on final checkout. Don't forget!

Remember, enter the lots you DO NOT want, not the lots you are okay with.

I entered "Please do not send LOT 6, LOT 7, or LOT 8"

That's based on my understanding that those lots may not have sealer. I guess lot 9 is okay based on another post I saw here.

I bought an Emerson knife from this guy once and everything went okay.

BTW, it's sold in 500 round "cases", so if you want 1000 rounds, order two cases, duh!

This is even cheaper than Kiesler's, which was $168 with shipping.

GOOD NEWS!!!!

I was trying to order some ammo, and the shipping was coming to $13 no matter what. Each case of XM193 is $75/500rds, totalling $150/1000rds.

I called them about the shipping-- for ANYTHING totalling over $200, its $13 PERIOD. hehe

She checked the lot, and its all lot 9. They have 11,522 boxes as of RIGHT NOW and are trying to reduce their supply since they have so much on hand.

Actually, I ordered a Cold Steel OSS knife from them a few months ago, not the Emerson.

But they had the lowest price I could find, their shipping charges were reasonable, and everything arrived as advertised in a timely fashion.

So, I'd say they are okay. Hopefully, the ammo will arrive as advertised as well.

They told me they had 1,000 cases, which I assume means 1,000 500-round cases, as that's how it's sold.

I had the lady check the computer. They had 11,522 boxes in stock. (Not sure if thats 20 or 500 rds per box, but I assume its 500 rds per box since that's how they sell it).

Ammoman also has the XM193, however he has the following warning:

"GET THIS "80 GRAIN 223 AMMO" ONLY FOR USE IN THROATED MATCH GUNS" DO NOT BUY THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE ONE"

Am I missing something? Would this stuff hurt my Bushmaster w/a nato chamber?

I had been looking for ammo for months now, and this blew away the other costs by about $50 per 1000, espcially when its $13 shipping for the entire order, no taxes, and I ordered a SH*TLOAD of boxes!!!

ARGH! Couldn't help it, either!!! I just picked up 1K of this stuff.

Troy says others on the board have said that it is fully sealed. This is THE ONLY reason I decided to pick this stuff up from this place. I was going to order from NATCHEZ cuz they still have lots that are KNOWN to be sealed, but their prices ARE higher.

Well, I hope these things are sealed. Hey, can anyone who receives their ammo first pull a bullet out to check????

On another thread, a guy pulled a bullet out of Lot 9, and it was sealed. Only thing is, his prices were $180, plus about $15 per case in shipping.

I ordered Lot 9 from this place. The only reason I ordered so much is cuz its about $199 delivered (per 1000rd case) elsewhere and its sealed. I saved $50 per 1000rds and only paid $13 shipping for the entire order, and NO STATE TAXES!!!! Even if it wasn't sealed, it is not a bad price at all.

By the way, they said once its gone, its gone! They are just trying to reduce their inventory.

Two days after MATTJA put his post up, I called
Whole Sale Hunter to ask them about the XM193 stuff; specifically, what lots they had as I did not want lots 6, 7, or 8. The lady went to the werehouse to ask the stocking guy, i guess. She came back on the phone a couple of minutes later saying that the guy was SICK AND TIRED OF ANSWERING THAT QUESTION! I then went on to tell her to get ready for the enormous of amount of business they would receive via AR15.com because of their low prices on such great ammo! Well, well, well, you guys didn't let me down. I almost feeling like calling her back just to see what her response is.

When I called the other day, the only person there was the receptionist. She checked her computers, and went to get the lot number for me. I told her the same-- to expect a TON of orders since their prices and shipping are awesome. She gave me the quantity they had and said once its gone, its gone.

I would not hesitate on this! Especially if they decide to up the prices since they are getting so many orders!

Should someone have them update their web page with the LOT NUMBERS?

They're located outside Jefferson City, MO, so expect people near those parts to get their shipments first. I didn't receive a shipping confirmation, so I guess they aren't up to that level of tech yet, e-mailing tracking numbers and the like.
