Gent's,
Just thought I would share pics of my custom ordered Sabre Defence A2 (manufactured in 2007)...details as follows: 1) 20" 1/7 Gov't Profile chrome lined barrel (they only offered a 1/9 Gov't Profile - both chrome lined and non-chrome lined to the civilian market during 2007) 2) Factory 2 Stage Match Trigger (they only came w/a single stage mil-spec trigger) 3) Sabre is gone...therefore, no more factory Sabre rifles to be had - much less a factory build like mine My dealer was their top selling & stocking dealer in 2007. They honored my special order as he had the right connections

PK Firearms has A2 and A4 uppers in stock.
Manroy USA is trying to rehire the laid off Sabre employees. If they can produce a thing before July, color me surprised. Timetable for being able to produce products for the domestic firearms market....? |

My dealer was actually trying to talk me into an A4 (which I eventually purchased anyway) because of the flat top flexibility to mount optics and he also stated the fixed carry handle AR's (A2's) were not popular at all. But, that's what I wanted as it's by far my favorite AR variant + I wanted a factory built 20" classic with the true Gov't Profile 1/7 barrel. My other A2's are an old pre-ban Colt R6551 and a RRA NM (which has the heavy barrel though). Cheers, Sakic #19

Like? Magpul lowers, HK416s (post-samples, but the uppers are worth a ton), various special versions of the KAC E3, KAC SR-25 EM carbines, the ACR prototype a couple of years ago, nearly any RR. |
