From the little research I could find, it seems it won' t work out of the box due to the 516's lower.   Is there one available that will work, or can modifications be made to the BAD lever to make it work with the 516?

Thanks for any info

Ghost945rr from the sig forum has successfully modded the bad lever. Link

I recommend the phase  5 ebrv2, i have it on my 516 and it fits perfectly and looks cooler than the bad leverLink

Thanks Darith,

That was just the info I was lookng for, I think that phase 5 ebrv2 is the way to go.  Was it easy to mount up?

Thanks again

It replaces your bolt catch entirely.  The BAD lever clamps on top of the stock bolt release and the Phase 5 requires you to tap out the pin, and replace it entirely.

I HIGHLY recommend that you cover your lower receiver with lots and lots of electrical tape (not duct tape as it leaves residue).   That way when you slip off the pin when tapping it out, you won't mar up the finish of your lower.  I have seen it happen so many times it is a shame.

No prob! It's easy as apple pie and it will require a punch size 3/32" to knock the roll pin over (do not knock it out all the way, just enough to swap out the old for the new bolt catch release lever, then knock it back in, and use masking tape to prevent scratching your lower).
