I'm putting an ar15 rifle together and have a dpms buttstock marked lr-308. Can I use this buttstock on the ar15?

Is it a fixed or M4 folding type. Both will work. The buffer is different though.

Buffer tube and stock are the same as an ar15 one

The stocks are the same. Only the buffer and spring are different.
