Just what the title says. Very much appreciated.

How is the balance on this setup? I really like the looks and additional sight radius that a 13.2 would offer, but does it make the rifle feel front-heavy? |
Nice pics. Anyone got one with just the flash hider poking out the front?

I think the balance is perfect. The rifle started out with a heavy profile barrel, and it was a little nose heavy. Denny is onto something with these barrels, Without magazine, it weighs about 8 lbs. I went with the 13.2 just for the extra sight radius, as I don't intend to add anymore to it. |

Check out the Dissy picture thread by clicking >HERE<. Lots of good ones in there.

the bbl. would have to be much shorter than 16" |

Had to bump this, This thread sent me over the edge a few days ago.
Called Steve at ADCO and sent him my 20" DMR yesterday, to have him install a 16" DMR under my 12" DD tube. I really like the looks and Function of this set up. pics to follow, when I get it back from Steve chuck |

What scope are you using? Thanks 96Ag |

Looks like a Trijicon Accupoint to me.... |
Trijicon TR21 Accupoint. Amber reticle. Larue SPR-E mount. PRI flip front sight. Trying to decide on a rear. I have a set of Troy BUIS on another rifle, but have been worried about their QC lately based on what has been reported here. Still deciding on a rear BUIS. Maybe I will wait until after SHOT and see what comes out. |

Thanks for the reply. I have heard it called the "poor man's short dot" how do you like it? 96Ag |

I like it alot. I think it is the best variable optic option out there right now. No batteries required. Proven under field conditions. I really looked close at it after this thread . I am extremely happy with it. I am thinking about another one unless new options pop up at the SHOT Show. |

looks great, I will be joining the ranks soon with a 12" MI FF on a Denny's Recon that's all black. How is the front of your sling attached? |
GG&G sling thing rail adaptor. Very nice add on.
That sound like a cool set up, we'll be expecting pics. chuck |

I almost went with the Vortex too. You and I would have had twin carbines! What gas block do you have? |
Yeah, I noticed ours looked very similar. I just got crafty with a dremel and cut my stock FSB. |

This is exactly how I want my gun to look. How's she feel; balance okay? Under 10 lbs? |
Definately nose heavy. But since I built mine with more of an emphasis on precision shooting rather than 'tactical running & guning' it doesn't bother me at all. |
that looks great! Mind listing everything? |

RRA NM lower with M93B stock. Sabre 16" Government profile mid-length upper, 1/7 twist, M4 feed ramps, with DD 12" rail, YHM front fold-down sight, and Pentagon X2 light in DD offset mount. In the first picture it's wearing Aimpoint M3 in LaRue cantilever mount with LMT BUIS; the last picture (and its primary configuration) is with ACOG TA11 on TA51 mount w/ Troy BUIS (not seen in the picture). It's still "work in progress", so it's still missing a few things. The 1911 in the first picture is Caspian Titanium US Army 1* built by Wayne Novak, with SureFire X200 light. |
