Good to see prices dropping, but that's still a lot more than I paid for mine last summer.

Considering that there are no taxes or shipping it comes out to be about the same as the one I got locally last year for $1240.

It is nice to see lower prices though. I noticed on their website is says $1850 for 6920s.........looks like they got desperate

Anybody know these people? I assume they're good to order from ... ?

True, but seeing that two weeks ago at the gun show they were going for $1650. Things are really slowing down. Which is good.

This is a lot less than the $1600+ they go for here or on the EE

If I could find a FFL around here I would jump on it. But no FFL will touch that.

is it because they want to sell their own stock of jacked up priced rifles?

uhhhh are FFLs allowed to say no to a legal transfer?   that to me sounds like bullshit on their part......so if I buy a rifle from out of state and need to have it transfered I wouldnt be able to because these idiots cant compete with the price?  I would call the BATF and ask them how you should handle a situation like that......the rifle needs to get transfered......so what is the logical step?

I suppose any FFL can decline to do a transfer....there's no legal requirement that forces him to. But I would very seriously reconsider doing business with him in the future if he's unwilling to help you out.

I have bought several guns from my one of my local ffl guys and shipped over 30 guns through him, he will not accept any more inbound product that he has in stock.  So I took my $ elsewhere.

Nice price for a Colt.

Hmmm....if only I had the money
My FFL is as sweet as they come.

All I do is drop the seller info and he immediately faxes FFL no questions asked for a cool $20 - sometimes doesn't even charge me when I buy some ammo or show interest in some of his own wares.

ANy dealer that refuses to transfer most certainly deserves to lose your business for life. Fuk'n arrogant jerks who will piss your business away because they rather make a "bigger sale worth their time"...heard it all before.

As far as I know, a quad would be a new record.  Congrats?

PS I also sorta like the Restricted Stamp, does that make me lame?  Oh well.

Congrats again on the quad.

Oh shit, no sales tax! And my dealer only charges me $15 for a transfer with the call in.

ETA - Fuck it, I now own a Colt LE6920. I'm on the phone with Jim now.

He opened up the box and checked the trigger and hammer pins, he said they appear to be the small pins to him. Serial number was in the 61,xxx range.

I believe Colt only does small pin for new production.

FYI The $1600 for the 6940, I mentioned earlier, is the price shipped.. and 3% for CC orders..  remarkable prices.

I would love to buy a pony, but my budget allows for only a M&P.  Maybe saving for another year I could afford 1, but with a daughter in college, my budget is really tight.  It will be my 1 and only purchase.  Please keep me informed about M&P deals.  I love this site.  So informative and about as addicting as shooting itself.

Just tell her that Obama will give her the money for college.

BTW you might want to get a membership.  there's another couple of forums you might be interested in such as Pay It Foward where people give free stuff, and another post about Deals on In Stock stuff.. though the 2nd topic would probably would make you take a 2nd or 3rd mortgage on your home.

Not bad price at all.  I got a 6920 a few months back in a trade because I wanted to see what it was all about.  Well, I wish it had the smaller trigger pins but besides that I think the rifles are nice.  I did switch the brl out for a Colt 14.5" w/ perm hider though so now it is even better

In the General Forum, under Team Forum.  One of them, the official in stock is a sticky on top of the posts, and the other one Pay It Forward, it might be on pages 1-3, depending on how many people posted.  I don't have time right now to get the links.. but I'll get it to you if you have problems... heading out the door for work.
