That's simply awesome. I love the way it looks when paint gets worn off around the edges from honest use! |

No shit. I got stuck there instead of in the cage becuase of my masters and the fact that I could write "orders." When I was there we had a pretty good run. Lots of weapons training, first aid and MCMAP. The CO and S3 Alpha both thought that we should have a mindset of "training for the next deployment" in a much worse country. I ran over 100 people through the Combat lifesaver course and got a bunch of greens up to par on the Enhanced marksmans program. We ended up shooting every week. But like anything, depends on who is in what position at what time - on how bad it will suck. We got a very good Sgt. Maj and that helped too. |

No ethes, but sometimes it was very tempting.
I think I know why molsen was asking and I would say you should put that spring back in... |

Exactly. Illegally modifying an issue weapon, than posting about it on the internet, is an EXTREMELY stupid thing to do. I hope you don't get into trouble, but if you do, you deserve it. |

I am sorry i did not get a picture but it was before the digital camera / phone era.
My service rile with 203 fell out my lift truck(it had no doors) into the mud when i hit a nice bump. I hit the breaks at the same time i grabed for the the rifle. It ended up under the tire. My rifle was turned into a V. Broke the stock at the stock bolt. |

I snatched this from a few pages back ... just noticed how polished the ACOG knobs get. http://img174.imageshack.us/img174/1262/alasad109xz8.jpg Yea, the Larue throw levers don't stick out enough to get polished like that. Got an ACOG mount that looks like that. I keep it to remind me what my issued ACOG mount looked like, but I can't bring my self to use anything other then an RCO mount. I wish you had released the RCO mount before I had deployed. |

Nice picture on the stock, that cracked me up. |
