Do the colors from each of these match up with others?

Example: Magpul OD=Vltor FG=TD OD

Thanks in advance.

I think FG has more grey than OD.

Flat Dark Earth from Magpul Vltor and Tango Down should match pretty closely.

Foliage Green when we release it will also match.

Our original OD is based upon Cav Arms OD which I believe in based on Armalite's OD. It is darked than Vltors and TDs OD which was lighter and based upon Knights Green color.

Magpul.

Thank you for the response. When will you be releasing your FG?

I recently finished a DPMS Panther AP4 I was heavily modifying. I have a VLTOR Carbine Modstock, Tango Down pistol grip and forward rail grip, and Magpul rail covers, all in Dark Earth Tan. The Tango Down hardware and the VLTOR stock match perfectly. The Magpul covers seem a little darker, but not enough to seem out of place.

The dark earth color perfectly matches my HK USP .45 Tactical as well.

It is very difficult to get a perfect match from product to product.  Differnet materials, dyes, textures, finishes, reflectivity, etc. will make the "same" color look a little "different."  You will rarely get a 100% match to the eye.

However, if you go for one color on the gun and another color for the furniture I believe you get a much more interesting look. Nothing wrong with monochromatic, mind you, but the diferent colors break up the outline of the gun.  Which is what we are after, right?

I just bought a CTR and I don't think it matches the TD or Cav FDE.

See? The CTR is much greyer.

You sure the forearm and grip aren't Coyote Brown?
