that's exactly how my glock's slide looks 98% of the time.  Can it be duracoated or is there something we are doing wrong with our slides?

Is that just fingerprinting on it?  I can't really tell.

You need to explain that pic...I've wondered about it ever since you first posted it. Were you on a security job or something?

(excuse ignorance )

There is an interesting video floating around with a similar weapon, and similar man.....

Nothing much or exciting, just a Bolt Carrier that I refinished with Norrells Moly Resin (gray).   I want to see how well it holds up in extended use, and if the moly actually aids if no lube or light lube is used.  This will probably get run with one of the Stag MP bolts.

Yes, that's just fingerprints.  I could have wiped them off, but the next time you touch the slide, they're back again. I hate to say this, but the LMT finish does not even get near to the glock's finish.

Why not? A 20 or 30rd. mag wouldnt fit on there without getting in the way.  I would guess its just another way to carry an extra 10rds. of ammo....

I dont think a 20 rounder would actually get in the way...It's not that long. Maybe it is a 10 rounder.

Here are a few pictures of a sling configuration that I am working on trying to break.  I don't think it will ever be a dedicated sling on any of my weapons, but it seems to have decent potential to work as a universal sling and mount.

While I'll be the first to admit that it looks fragile, it supports full body weight without any problems.  I had wanted to make a sling that could be used easily on a variety of weapons, both with and without a side sling adaptor.  So far it looks to be holding up.  I'll try to write something up on it when I break it to give an accurate idea of how much abuse it can take.

Here it is in use with a standard front sling swivel.

The single point slings slide around too much for me.

Maybe I need to use a different version...

Do you have a picture of yours that shows the full layout of the sling?

there's one single pointer on the EE that I find works for me - the rest all tug on my neck.

profile tactical

with this guy I can put it on normally for a righty, then shove the gun all the way to my left shoulder.  it stays there and pulls the shoulder but not the neck, plus to stabalize the rifle while aiming all I have to do is assume a more face-forward position....

I put them on all my lighter guns and very happy with them...
