I am trying to get an idea of what AR's look like camoed. And Im talking the whole rifle not just the stock and grips. I am especially interested in woodland camo patterns but any camo pattern is welcome.

I'm planning on a base coat of Norrell's brown overlayed with Norrell's Tan. I'm going to coat all of the metal parts with the brown first, and then lay a mesh material over it and spray on the tan. I will definately be posting pics when it's done.

Take a look at this thread dated 7 May 2005. It's titled "Which Camo Scheme would you pick for a rifle?". It has countless photos of camoflauged rifles, even in the Crye MULTICAM pattern. I urge you to take a look at it, you won't be disappointed!

Personally I'm really interested in what people have managed at home. The professional finishes/camo jobs are cool and all, but I like to be able to talk to the "artist" and get some feedback and tips from them.
