I have a chance to buy a Colt AR-15 A3 NIB for $900.  Heres my dilema,  My best friend is a police officer and he is selling it NIB. But it  says for Law Enforcement export only.  I'm scared one day if theres another ban that I possibly have problems because of that.  Can anyone please give me advise.  I really want it and $900 is a sweet deal.

Just buy it, it isn't an issue with the LEO /GOV stamping, he could be selling it for much more right now.

Better grab it, $900 NIB is a good price.

Its a fair price, but I paid in the low to mid $700 range for mine.  If his friend is a cop, the price is fair, but no better than that.

Tell your friend you don't want his stinkin' rifle and you're insulted that he would even think to offer something stamped LE/Export Only for sale to a friend!

Better yet, give me his phone number so I can call him and tell him for you.

Make sure to give me both a daytime and evening number...an email address would be good to....oh, do you know if he has a PayPal account?

I'll give you $400 for the lower.

Have him handcuff you to a chair and and jab you with a pr-24, 10 times in the back. That way you will no longer feel guilty about getting a great deal on a LE Colt AR and whatever ATF may decide to do to you in the future will be insignificant.
