Is TangoDown 'Tan' a match for Coyote Brown from Cav-Arms, etc...?

No,
Tangodown matches VLTOR
Cav Arms matches Magpul

Close (it's a bit darker) - for me it's close enough for Gov't work:

Check it out:

Stock, pistol grip and ladder covers are Cav-Arms C.B.

Tango Down foward grip is their version of 'tan'

The light mount is TDI's version of Tan (much lighter than Cav's C.B. or T.D.'s tan).

The sling is the Wilderness's version of C.B.

Thanks for the info. Glad I asked because the TD vert looked lighter to me in pics....

Sweet, I have a Cav Arms handguard waiting on my Magpul Stock.

My coyote ergo grip seems several shades lighter than my Magpul stock and rail covers.  Or maybe I got a tan grip by mistake?

No, as has been said, they are different colors:

I sprayed down an entire carbine, including a VLTOR stock, Magpul rail protectors (both kinds), a SF 6P w/shock bezel, etc. with Brownell's Alumahyde II in coyote brown, and it all matched perfectly.  Later, I decided to hit it with a few blotches of brown Krylon.  Pretty cool, if I do say so myself.
