How do you get the engraved/stampled letters and words on the receiver colored so that it doesn't come off with gun solvent/cleaner?

Specifically, I want to color

COLT LAW
ENFORCEMENT
CARBINE
CAL 5.56 MM
LE #######

and

COLT DEFENSE
HARTFORD, CONN.
----- U.S.A.-----

and the fire control reads "FIRE" and "SAFE"

ON RIGHT SIDE:

RESTRICTED
MILITARY / GOVERNMENT
LAW ENFORCEMENT / EXPORT
USE ONLY

Here's an similar example of what I'd like to do, but on a Bushy.

My results. The accuracy doubled when I painted my sights in. Honest.
