Hey. I remember some people talking about these and how you get "the XM177 look" without going to 11.5 inch barrel size and losing velocity. I ran a search on them, but it didn't turn up much. Can somebody give me the full story on the slip overs? How do they attach and all that.

it slides over the barrel, the threads are  half way down the "flash hider" so it looks like it attached to a short barrel.

This is the Bushmaster slipover FS for the standard .610 profile barrel... it's a bit muzzle heavy but not at all unmanageable due to the barrel reprofile.
