I've tried the search, but either its off or I can't figure it out. Looking for pros and cons of the twists.

Thanks-

Basically the 1:7 will handle 55gr and higher (longer bullets) typically better
and 1:9 will handle 45-62gr bullets better

However, it can all depend on individual barrels.  Some 1:9 can handle the longer bullets just fine.

There may be a difference in longevity/life of barrel, but I don't know.

1x7 will work from 55g to 80gr
1x9 will work from 40gr to 69gr reliably, some will work up 77gr it all depends on that particular barrel.
Rifling twist rates vary, a 1x9 from one manufacturer may be 1x8.5 to 1x9.4 and still be called 1x9.

Can't you also use 90 gr with 1/7? I realize it will not feed from a standard magazine, but I've heard 90 gives very goods results at longer ranges.

1  John 1:7
....but if we walk in the Light, as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
1 john 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I hope this helps.

I really loved Kerrys saying John 16:3 was his favorite Bilble verse.

And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me. John 16:3

Priceless... a Liberal trying to quote Bible verses and it backfiring like that.  The annoying part... the media covered it up and almost nobody ever knew about it
