I found English 30 round mags on www.impactguns.com/store/ar15_british_mags.html for $20, which is the best I could find.  I only need 4 magazines.  In September do you think these prices will go down?  I also live in MA so if I want to buy new magazines I will have to buy them out of state witch is a minor inconvience also kind of illegal.  So what do you guys think. Thanks.

No one can say for sure whether or not the ban will expire. However, all indications from anyone who knows anything point to the ban sunseting. If the ban sunsets, the magazines will go down in price; simple as that.

I know it's expiring in Texas, but I can't speak for the other states.

If you look you can find them cheaper than Impact Guns. They usually run from $13-15 each. I have a few and like them. I'd suggest buying enough mags that you are comfortable with, and if the AWB is extended permanently, then you will have not lost anything. If the AWB goes away they won't be worthless, because the Anti's will keep coming back with more bans.

Ohio Rapid Fire has (or had - haven't checked lately) them cheaper.
I like the steel mags better than GI aluminum ones anyone.

Even after the ban I can't see mag prices droping below $15.00 for new GI Spec 20 or 30 rounders.

I would agree with this...I think the mags that will take a dump are pistol mags...especially for guns that came out right before the ban. AR mags are already pretty cheap...so I don't think they'll go down much more if any...

I'm gonna pick up some Para-Ord 13 round mags for my P-14 when the AWB expires. $50 per isn't my cup of tea.
I just got 15 NIW LaBelle USGI mags last week from ammoman. I've got Gunsite 223 in 2 weeks and needed reliable mags for class.

Hey, I don't hesitate to buy mags now.  At least not from EE.  At WORST, I am trying to support those who support AR15.com, maybe I will spend a few bucks more than I have to, but I don't see them dropping drastically.  Maybe a bit.
