Holy crap... when I move to NH I'm gonna be your best friend... this way WTSHTF I can come right over and hunker down with you..

The more the merrier my friend

The New England ice storm we had here a few years ago taught me the value of having a few good friends around. My home was the only one in the neighborhood that had heat, hot water, and electricity thanks to a portable generator. It was utterly amazing how many perfect strangers knocked on the door expecting a hot shower or meal, simply because my family had something they didn't.

It went on this way for a couple of weeks.

CJ those ammo pics are just FANFUCKINGTASTIC!!!!!

Thank you kind sir!

AUSTRALIAN  .308/7.62 NATO   5 Pocket Bandoleers  work great for .223/5.56 NATO.
Each holds 100 rounds w/spoon. They are Very High Quality. They have snaps and adjustable strap.
(5) Bandoleers (500 rounds) will fit very well in a .50CAL ammo can, and isn't to heavy to carry.
Also they are easy to count @100 rounds each. Stripper clips in these are definitely a good way to go.
Works Very Well For Me. You can load 12/30 round mags and 7/20 round mags per can.

Thanks Bently,
Its certainly a fun rifle and I do like its simplicity. The only plans that I have for it are to have the barrel turned to M4 profile (for weights sake), cut down to 14.5" and attach a Phantom, and add a telestock (come Sept. of course!). Its a handy rifle now, but even more so then I hope.

Does anyone else think that seeing pictures of plastic pistols and 1911s gets old fast?
I support 100 percent unadultered AR15 pics. More configs and much more ideas.

Seeing so many pistol pics which are inherantly bland makes me a sad panda.

Unless I'm missing something here, the only thing you've posted is some smart remarks.  If you don't like it don't look.

What fantastic AR do you own and want to share a picture of with us?  Or doesn't your Mommy allow you to play with guns?

Dude... you guys with an ASP worth of ammo are awesome. Better hope BATF and The Brady Campaign never check this site out... they'll be handing the webmaster's a warrant to get addresses so they can pay you a visit.

Question: I'm probably guilty of this to a degree, but I try to build my weapons based on their function/use. Having said that, I have always thought of a bipod as a distance-shooting aid, and not really practical for use on an entry weapon. I've seen several AR's with flashlights, vertical foregrips, red-dot scopes, collapsible stocks, mag couplers (all of which spell CQB) and a harris bipod.

Does this seem like overkill to anyone else, or am I just being way too critical?

Anywho... keep them pictures coming... it helps to know who's house to come to WTSHTF!!

Yes,TOO CRITICAL!
hfinder74.Bipod will work in either direction. I have used it this way for about 12 years.
Everyone that has shot it, from a bench or lying on the ground, thought it worked great.
It can be removed in about 5 seconds. I can also put on a bayonet
and use it to peel some potatoes and make some Tater Salad.

Well, I finally got ff my ass and took some pictures with the CQ/T mounted. I was experimenting a little with lighting and backdrops... but I was less than thrilled with the results. Practice, practice... I'll replace these when I try my hand at photography again. I am gong to try to build a little stupid for taking a little better pictures. We'll see how far I get with that.

Hey, whatever blows your skirt up dude...

I've always been under the impression that a Harris bipod (I'm assuming that's what you have on there) should be mounted legs forward, so that you can lean into the bipod to get added stability when shooting from the bench of prone. But hey, if it works for you then I guess you have proved me wrong. Rock on with your bad self. You're shooting it, not me.
