You know, the one for the CAR that wraps around the barrel to lengthen the system to change the timing.  Where can I get one?  I know I've seen them advertised in the past but can't find one now.

Thanks

Fulton Armory also has an interesting adjustable gas tube...

The only two M16 shorties I could never get to function both had PigTail gas tubes, one a 7" and one an 11.5"  I will never go down that path again.

Were these pigtails designed for curing problems experienced in full-auto use only?

Get the PRI "Fat Boy" gas tube. MSTN has em'.
50 bucks though. Supposed to give an M4 style receiver the proper gas preasure as the standard system on a 20" barrel.
50 bucks, it better do dishes too though.

Hmmm...  Interesting.  The OA-93 uppers in 6.5" and 7.5" work fine with a pigtail in FA.

I had wanted to try one of Oly Arms Pigtails since they had the spreader bar to keep the coils from collapsing.

The ones I worked on I could get to run 3 mags worth then would short stroke after that, open the gas hole run 3 more mags, open the gas hole same thing, Something was changing with them and I finally just gave up.

Hmmm...  I have a 6.5" barrel/gas tube kit that could be yours for the right amount! :-)

Hay River Mfg. also makes a gastube (not a pigtail) that accomplishes the same thing.  I use one on an 11.5" Barrel and it works fine.

MUCH cheaper too...

I do own a olyarms stubby and by now (some 300 rds put into it) never jammed once.

Hey Mr. Stoner does Hay River Mfg. have a web site?

I don't think so,  but Ebay has them on occasionally under "gas tube."
