I was wondering if you guys know if/ when you will be getting any more in.

My local shop in Apopka, FL (Shoot Straight) has one in the box with holster and everything; nice and clean; I think the year was 1941 on it. I was looking at it while making my final payment on my Kimber Warrior (which I pick up tomorrow). Very clean, looked unissued. I'll get pics if possible and IM you the price if you want.

Do you have the .32 auto cylinders? Ammo for the .32 is quite a bit easier and cheaper, to get than 7.62 Nagant. So being the cheap, impatient person that I am, I'd rather be able to shoot ammo I can get just about anytime the mood strikes me.

You can shoot .32 Smith&Wesson longs out of an original Nagant revolver. No need to switch out the cylinder or anything, Just load them in and pull the trigger. Aim has .32 S&W for ~14 per 50 rounds. |

Yeah, but it just seemed a neater solution. I have a pretty good supply of most any ammo I want at a decent price And just in case I decide to pick up that .32 Scorpion we have in the case, it would be nice to have less calibers to buy. I was trying to pare down my caliber variety lately. Of course I added two new ones, and am thinking of getting a third now. I just might have a problem! |

The 1895 Nagant, upon firing forces the cylinder foward eliminating the gap at the forcing cone. That allows the revolver to be run with a silencer? or maybe better stated allows the silence to actually silence the revolver.... |
|
The bullet is set below the top of the case. The neck goes into the forcing cone when the cylinder moves forward. This seals it when fired, eliminating the gap, which allows a suppressor to be effective on the revolver I've got a YHM 7.62 Phantom in the works (going to get the paperwork to the ATF in the next week or so), so I'm definitely going to have to get a Nagant threaded and suppress it.

Who is threading the Nagants? and if you are using the S&W rounds (vs the Nagant) will it still seal? |

There is a guy who has one on youtube with a silencer on it.

Below is a pic comparing rounds - notice the extended neck on the Nagant round. |

Thanks Bryan. My birthday is in about two weeks, so I am going to get me a birthday present. I want a really old one and/or in great shape so I will most likely handpick if available.
