Charleston County Sheriff's Office radio dispatch tape from Jan. 21, 2010, shooting of Deputy Jeffrey DeGrow
Tapes released Monday by the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office show how Deputy Jeffery DeGrow radioed for help after he was shot in the head and arm. The tape begins with DeGrow notifying dispatchers, “County, I’ve got three running, I don’t know if it’s involved in the burglaries or not.”

The radio tape is very clear and the officer remains cool and clear even though he has been shot in the eye and shoulder.

Scary stuff.
